Golf has been a defining part of my life since starting at the age of nine. Since then, I’ve come to love not just the game itself, but the discipline, focus, and resilience it requires. Today, as a 16-year-old with an 8.0 handicap and a 4.0 GPA, I’m committed to continuing to grow both as a student and an athlete, and I’m eager to take the next step by competing at the collegiate level.
I’ve always believed that success on the course mirrors success in the classroom. Just like I study my swing and course strategy, I approach academics with the same determination and attention to detail. My 4.0 GPA reflects my strong work ethic, time management skills, and passion for learning. I take pride in pushing myself academically while dedicating time to practice, strength training, and tournaments year-round.
Competing in MET PGA Junior tournaments has taught me how to stay mentally strong under pressure, adapt to challenging conditions, and maintain composure through setbacks. I look at each round as an opportunity to learn and improve physically, mentally and emotionally. I thrive in a competitive environment and am motivated by the pursuit of success, both individually and as part of a team.
My goal is to be part of a college golf program that values integrity, hard work, and overall improvement. I’m excited to contribute to a team atmosphere where we support one another and push each other to perform at our best. With my strong academic foundation, proven commitment to golf, and desire to keep developing, I’m confident I can make a meaningful impact at the collegiate level.
