My interest in golf began at an early age, when I began going to the course with my dad at around two years of age. Over the years, my passion for the game has continued to grow as I have competed in NTPGA, AJGA, OGA, and other tournaments. I am extremely competitive and driven when it comes to the game and being successful.
Golf has taught me that things may not always go the way I expect, but I have learned to keep my composure and work through obstacles facing me. I consider my main strength to be ball striking; however, I have never had a formal swing lesson and am self taught. My goal is to play at the college level for a coach I can learn from and take my game to the next level while contributing to the team.
My dad always asks, “Did you just play today or did you practice today?” I understand that solid and persistent practice comes first and is necessary to be a great player. I look forward to attending a school that has practice facilities where I can work on my game year round.
