My passion and love for golf started at the age of 2. I have had a club in my hands for as long as I can remember.
I played my first competitive tournament at the age of 5. Once I got the taste of winning, all I wanted to do is play more golf and work to become a better player.
I love all aspects of the game of golf. From the 1st tee, to the last putt on the 18th green, to watching the scores being placed on the leaderboard. Not to mention, all the friendships that are made on the golf course. I realize that being a good teammate is more than the score posted. It is about being supportive of my teammates and respectful to my coach and the others around me who are helping me get better.
I am a confident player. Most people would say I am an aggressive player. In my head I always think the closer my approach shot the easier the putt. That is one of the reasons I spent so much time working on my short game.
I am working on all parts of my game both on and off the course, so I can become the player I know I can be if I continue to listen and to work . I truly feel like I can be an asset to a collegiate team.
