William Hobby '24 Recruiting Profile

As a highly competitive person, I have always wanted to be the best at what I do. Ever since 10th grade, I have been hard-focused on golf. I take pride in getting better at the sport I love and want to become the best golfer I can be, no matter what the sacrifices. I want to play golf on a collegiate level and use my talent to get scholarships that will help my parents pay for me to go to school and acquire the Business degree I desire. I have always done well in school and have a 4.8 GPA as a senior in the Odyssey Online Learning Academy. What separates me the most is my work ethic. I have been playing golf seriously for only 2 full golf seasons, and have already dropped my handicap to a 2 handicap. I practice a lot on my game, and I am always looking to improve. Progress drives me as a person, and I am always looking to improve.
