I have been playing golf with my father since I was around 7 or 8, but I have now been playing seriously since the start of high school. In the few years that I have been seriously playing golf, I have dropped my score from low 100's to mid to low 70's. I compete in STPGA and TJGT tournaments around the Houston Area. And I have learned how to lead well and be a part of a team through my experience in golf and basketball. Thank you for reading and considering me for your team. - AwardsThroughout high school, I have received several academic awards. For the past three years, I have received Summa Cum Laude at the end of each school year, which requires a 3.7 GPA. Next, I am in NHS (National Honor Society), which requires at least a 3.0 GPA. I have been in NHS since my sophomore year, and I have been promoted to an officer position this year. Lastly, over the past year in athletics, I received Academic All-State in Basketball and Golf. Academic All-State requires you to be a junior or senior and keep a 3.60 GPA during the sport’s season. I look forward to pursuing these awards once again my senior year and finishing strong in academics!
- ActivitiesFor all four years in high school, I have been a part of Student Council. Although, this year, I had the awesome opportunity to run and become Student Council President. It is a huge honor to lead our group of students to better serve and lead on campus every day. Next, in my sophomore, junior, and senior years, I have been a member of NHS (National Honor Society). During this year, I have had the privilege to be the chaplain for our chapter. It is an amazing experience to read scripture and lead our chapter in prayer each meeting.
