Since I have began taking golf seriously at the beginning of my freshman year of high school, I have played in some of the most competitive events in the mid-Atlantic area. Throughout this time I feel that I have grown not only as a player, but as a brother, son and leader. It has made me a better person for those around me not only on my high school golf team, but as well as my marching band. As a captain of the golf team this year, as well as previous years, I always share my experiences on the golf course to help build up the confidence of my team in order to help us come better golfers.
Throughout my childhood, I never really took anything seriously, that was until I began playing in tournaments regularly. Golf has helped me become a much more mature person as a result of its thinking oriented nature. Now as a senior I am burning with desire to earn a degree in finance and continue to grow as a golfer while helping a golf program win a championship.
