Ryan Fischer '16 Recruiting Profile

I plan on attending a school that is a good fit for me academically and socially.   A golf team that works well together, communicates, and gets along is my goal.  I love the outdoors.  I have been golfing and fishing since I was very young.   I live next door to a golf course and have loved spending many hours there practicing my game and enjoying the course.    I am also a volunteer fireman and plan on continuing that during my college years and beyond. 

I think what makes me different is that I'm very well rounded.  I'm a good student, not a straight A guy, but I don't have a problem keeping up with my work.  I volunteer at the fire department in my community, fish with my friends, go to church with my family and golf anytime I get a free hour.  I'm looking forward to the challenges and changes that college will present.  Although I'm still undecided on a major I'm excited about my future and the possibilities it holds.
