Personal Statement

Whenever I am not traveling for softball, it is very important to me to be able to go to church. It's so coincidental that the messages seem to always be so relative to what I have going on.

A recent message was about Gratitude. Our pastor gave us examples of what to be grateful for, and I related these to softball, of course!! I am grateful for the sport and the ability to play. I am grateful for who has been placed in my path to help me succeed. I am grateful for the ability to learn and grow. I am grateful for what He hasn't done yet - but I know He is going to help me fulfill my desire to play college softball! I am grateful for the situations He allows me to go through - because this softball journey is sure full of ups and downs!! To sum it up and quoting my pastor, " Gratitude is the gasoline that fuels your life forward."

Also pointed out, is I am happy because I am thankful.....I am thankful for all that softball has done for me, and I remain committed to putting in the work to stay on this journey as long as I can.

  • My team was 2-2 in the tournament. I had a lot of activity in right field with no errors and was able to throw out a runner at second base trying to get a double!! I did have a triple with rbi in one game, but it was not my best weekend at the plate overall!
  • Camp/Event
  • D9 Sun Classic Fall Showcase
  • 10/25/18 to 10/28/18
  • Including practice games our team was 6-2. I played all but 2 innings in right field for the whole tournament with some good action and even threw out a runner trying to go home! I had a few memorable at bats including a double with an rbi and I executed a suicide squeeze bunt!
  • Camp/Event
  • Legendary Softball Showcase Showdown
  • 10/20/18 to 10/21/18
  • Our team went 5-0 this weekend. We scored 36 runs and allowed only 2 out of all 5 games. I had 3 hits and 4 RBIs. I started in RF....not too much action though.... just a put out to a runner who didn't make it safe to 2nd base!
  • Camp/Event
  • Team New Jersey Fall College Showcase
  • 10/12/18 to 10/14/18
  • My Virginia Legends 18U Premier team went 2-2 at this event. I rotated with a teammate in right field. I only had one at bat during the tournament and grounded out :-(

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
