Personal Statement
I'm grateful to have been able to been able to play hockey for all of my life. My best memory throughout my career thus far would have to be playing my second season of junior hockey where I had an outstanding season even though the team didn't finish where we wanted to in the standings. The hard work and determination that was put into that season, along with the way the team meshed in the locker room was by far the greatest season of hockey I've ever been a part of.
Throughout my career I have generally had to play a year ahead of my age group. It helped increase my abilities as a goaltender having to play against teams at a higher level than I should have been. I have had to show perseverance and determination to be able to sustain playing on teams older than me, and to this day I still am always the first one to practice and the last one to leave. In school I strive to have good grades. I always put as much effort into my sports and education as I can to try and help my future as a player and a person.
