Hello, My Name is Keegan McLaughlin and I'm from Lewiston ME,04240. All my life I've held myself to higher expectations then my peers. I've always wanted to be successful in hockey but I've had nothing given to me. I first started hockey at the age of 4 at the Biddeford Ice Arena in Biddeford, ME. From there, I moved to the Oxford hills and play hockey for the Western Maine Wolverine Teir 4 until Peewee second year. Around that time, I noticed that the hockey I was playing wasn't really challenging me anymore. At the end of my first year of Peewee hockey, I moved organizations to the Maine Gladiators Teir 2. My bantam years, I played both years Tier 3, First year making it 3rd out of 10 team and then my second year being a State Champion. That year we came in second at regionals as well. For my two years of 16u Midgets, I played Tier 3 for the Maine Nordiques. My Junior year, I started Varsity for the Lewiston Blue Devils. We went 21-0, and were Maine Class A State Champions. That year I went, 21-0 0.941 Sv%, 1.14 GAA and 9 shutouts(7 regular season, 2 playoffs). This summer, I played for the Nh Avalanche 18u AAA Showcase Split-Season team out of Hookset, Nh. We were designated as just a showcase team but with COVID-19 hitting, it really conflicted with tournaments and different plans that I had talked about with the organization. I'd like to say that I am a team player and that I like to do my job the right way. I am an extremely competitive person and I am ready to fight my way to the top or to work on different ways to improve my game and get tot he next level.
