Madison Laflamme '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Madison LaFlamme, I am 17 years old. I am in my junior year at Lewiston High School in Lewiston Maine. I have been playing softball since the age of five. Softball is my passion. I have been a three season athlete until recently, when I decided to focus solely on softball. I want to take the extra time to improve my agility and skills. I will be focusing year round on bettering my overall health and developing my skills so that I have the fundamentals that are needed to play beyond High School.

As a Freshman I was selected as a swing player for our JV and Varsity Softball Team. I have played on an 18U team for the past three summers. I have been selected as the team captian for my travel team for the 2019 Season. I will be playing with the 18U Southern Maine River Rats Showcase team this upcoming 2020 season. My coaches have told me that I have great compassion and drive and that with my attitude, coach ability and determination, I will continue to grow as an individual and as a player.

I have been told over and over again that I am a determined individual, that I work hard, have persistence and have an amazing work ethic. That when I set my mind to things,  that I make sure I accomplish it. I am determined to continue to earn good grades and get accepted into college where I will pursue a career in Nursing.

I am looking forward to the next couple of years of High School on and off the field. I look forward to continuing to better myself as a person and an athlete. I know I can overcome any obstacle placed in front of me through my hard work and determination. I am never one to give up or walk away. There is always a solution to be found and I know, no matter where my road leads, that there will be many ups and downs to learn from, but in the end, I know I have a bright future ahead and I can’t wait for the ride ahead.
