My ultimate goal is to achieve education and a career in health sciences while playing hockey at the collegiate level. I have interests in nursing, physical therapy and athletic training and would love to combine my love of hockey with my eventual career. .
I possess good size and above average skills on the ice. I am a good defenseman with excellent on ice vision and a presence of where I am and where my opponents are. I am a good tape to tape passer and can lead a breakout with either my stick handling or passing. I am a hard-worker on the ice and will give 110% every shift. I possess a calm demeanor on the ice and do not panic yet I love to play a physical and aggressive game.
Academically I am a good student and very conscientious about my studies. I have been fortunate enough to play four years of varsity hockey and made the honor roll in winter trimester of 2013. My senior year I am looking to lead my team deeper into the playoffs while striving for Athlete-Scholar recognition in the classroom.
