Matthew McIntyre '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew William McIntyre. I am currently a Senior at Blaine High School. I play right wing and center for the Varsity team at Blaine Senior High School in Minnesota. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 185 lbs.

My family and I moved from California to Minnesota in 2016. We had gone to Minnesota in 2015 for a AAA hockey tournament at the National Sports Center in Blaine. We decided as a family to make the huge move to Minnesota. It has always felt like home and that we have lived here forever. 

I started playing youth hockey in Blaine for the Pee Wee AA  team, all the way to Bantam AA. I made JV last year, my Junior year and earned my spot to be pulled up to Varsity that year. I now play Varsity in my senior year. I train year around by going to the gym, getting as much ice time as I can, eating well, and meditating. I work hard and I am dedicated to be the best I can be. I am very focused on my goals to succeed in school, hockey, and life. I am interested in studying Healthy Living, Nutrition and Sports Medicine.

This has all been possible because of my Dad and Mom. They have always supported me in every aspect of my life.
