Colin McCammon '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Colin McCammon, and I would love the opportunity to play hockey in college. I started on skates at age 3 and have been playing ever since. I am a left defenseman and I have played club hockey since age 5 and high school varsity since I was a freshman. I am an alternate captain on my high school team. I was invited to the Central States Developmental Hockey League All-Star game last year.

In college I would like to major in engineering, and I believe the difficult classes that I have taken in high school have prepared me well for tough classes in college. I also believe that hockey has taught me many lessons outside of the sport, such as the importance of discipline and a good work ethic. Both have helped me with hockey and everyday life. I work hard in school and study to maintain good grades. I am coachable, teachable, reliable, and smart, which has helped me excel in school. I believe that hockey has prepared me for playing sports at the collegiate level.
