My name is Faith Woodall, and I currently attend Parkway West High School, class of 2021. So far, with taking Honors Freshman Chemistry and Honors Biology, I have learned that I enjoy the challenge. I feel like the pressure that I put on myself comes from what I believe I can accomplish in sports and in the class room. Track season, my freshman year, became a sudden passion for me. The track coaches constantly pushed me and talked to me about what they believed I could become if I stayed with it. The jump coaches, in particular, took an interest in me, and I finished the season lettering on the Varsity team.
My desire to do great is from seeing what hard work can do for a person. I've seen where people can accomplish unimaginable things if they continue to focus and drive themselves. I feel like I am this way on myself because I have my parents, family members, and coaches that know me best and teach me how I can to improve myself with Grit. I enjoy learning in school, and pushing myself physically. My workouts are strenuous and constant focusing on building muscle and also my techniques and skill. I've also played basketball through middle school and the first two years of high school, currently playing on the ladies JV team. I enjoy a variety of sports and activities, as well as learning new things. My parents have always encouraged me and I'm blessed to have their support. My family members have degrees in multiple fields, and some have played sports at the collegiate and professional level. I have them there to answer questions and help guide me on my path.
