Johnie Hays '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Johnie Hays, and I’m entering my junior year at Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, VA. I’ve been playing hockey since the age of 8, and quickly gained interest in the position of goalie. My strengths include the ability to read the room both on and off the ice, which enables me to track and anticipate shots on goal. I don’t prefer the spotlight but I’m ready with the tunes in the locker room.  Most importantly, I’m not easily shaken and the players on my team know they can depend on me. I hope to play at a college or university that supports my academic interest in history.
