This spring season has shown me what I want to be as a player and as a man. At the beginning of the season, I was all in my head, as it was the first time I would be playing in meaningful varsity games. As my coaches and teammates got me out of my "funk" at the beginning of the season, I began to JPL as we like to call it, or Just Play Lacrosse. Once this was embedded in my mind I began to play lacrosse like I knew I could. Battling at the X became easier and easier, as the season went on. As the season changed me as a man would be overcoming adversity. This lead to life off the field. When I wouldn't get my way instead of being angry at myself or others, I could move on and focus on the future and what could be, instead of what could've been.
