One of the reasons my family decided to move to the US from the UK in September of 2017 was so I could pursue my love of lacrosse. I started playing at my international school in England in 5th grade when I had a great teacher named Matt Bagley (current German National Men’s Lacrosse Coach) and he motivated me to really pursue the sport. Starting in 2013, I have attended US development camps (Yale, Navy, Conn College, UNC...) and have taken every opportunity to play. It is not always easy to find playing opportunities in Southern England so my family started a boys' club team that is now #2 in the region. I was the school team captain in 7th and 8th grade and really enjoyed working with the younger club players and hopefully helping to develop the game in the UK.
Playing lacrosse for Portsmouth Abbey has been an amazing experience and I am excited for Spring 2019 and taking advantage of Coach Brown’s guidance as I continue to learn to master the game. I am a strong student with a passion for history. I am dual nationality British/American and I hope to pursue a career in international relations.
Unfortunately I opened the 2018 season at Portsmouth Abbey with a broken ankle so in pursuit of playing college lacrosse I reclassed at Cheshire Academy. At Chesire Academy I can push myself physically playing both Football and Lacrosse. I also plan to challenge myself academically as i am pursuing an International Baccalaureate.
