I started playing lacrosse during my sophomore year of high school because a few of my upperclassmen friends got me to play. Leading up to this I was never really an athlete, prior to lacrosse I use to run cross country and track. I can honestly say I have never fallen in love with a sport more, no matter what situations it has put me in I just love getting outside and playing. From my sophomore season of sitting on the bench in the cold beginnings of the season aching for any play time, even in the JV games. To looking forward to my last year playing for Cromwell where I will be a starting varsity attack man and in good contention for a position as team captain. Looking from where I started to where I am now I think of the hard hours during practice and the even harder hours put in after it. If you ask any of my coaches they will tell you I put in work during practice, and even more outside of it. I think my determination and drive to preform to the best of my ability will automatically make me stand out compared to a less driven player.
