Over the past 10 years, I have been very lucky to compete in many different sports, including football, swimming, and lacrosse. Each one has provided me with a tremendous learning experience, teaching me the value of hard work, sacrifice, and commitment. However, it was in middle school after a summer club tournament championship, where I solidified my position as a defenseman and my passion for lacrosse. As a high school student-athlete, it is my mission to turn that passion into success, both in the classroom and on the field.
My commitment to lacrosse is matched only by my focus and determination to be the best student that I can be, and ultimately studying medicine. As a result, my self-discipline has allowed me to fully concentrate on my primary academic and athletic goals of attaining the best college education possible, while playing the sport that I love. I am a tireless worker and as one piece of my team’s machine, I believe that I have the character and leadership qualities necessary to help my teammates succeed. As I continue to improve these skills, and with the strength and support of my family, I am confident in my abilities to compete at the college level.
