I am a 12-year goalie veteran who stops the ball at 55%, clears at 87%, and guides and uplifts defensemen so our unit performs with operational excellence. As varsity and club goalie, my skills and strategy continue to evolve to higher levels of performance. I have learned how to make an accelerated, forward-moving transition game that allows the offense to be more successful in transition. In addition to skills and strategy, my greatest strength is the leadership that I provide for my teammates. I communicate early and often, am always focused on improvement for me and my team, and maintain a positive and results-oriented attitude.
In addition to lacrosse, I have played starter positions in football for 11 years and in basketball for 10 years, earning varsity football State Champion title last season. My size (6’ 1” / 195 lb), strength, and sport’s IQ have always been assets to my teammates. I thoroughly enjoy competing in sports year-round as it allows me to be more physically fit and to have a better work ethic on the field and in the classroom.
My current GPA is 4.417, I am a member of the National Honor Society and National Society of High School Scholars, and I’ve earned President’s List and Honor Roll for the past 6 years. I have taken four AP courses and plan to complete at least eight APs before my May 2024 graduation from Lake Highland Prep. Last week, I was awarded Eagle Scout, the highest rank in scouts and one that speaks to my character, values, leadership, and service orientation. In my spare time I work and enjoy volunteering for youth lacrosse, family, weightlifting, and water and snow sports.
The Lake Highland Prep community has challenged and encouraged me to do my best so that I will be prepared for college and have a solid foundation of values for my adult life.
