Currently enrolled at Claremont Lacrosse Academy in Victoria, BC, my passion is LSM, however I am perfectly comfortable playing Long Pole. Coaches describe me as a player that plays on the edge, with a bit of grit and not afraid to get physical as required. A dangerous defender that doesn't stop until there is a whistle or my team has the ball. My goal is to be a presence when I am on the field of play, players on the opposition think twice before trying to get by. For me the glory is stripping that ball. As LSM I also appreciate that my team is counting on my speed to get back to the sideline if we gain possession, and I certainly sprint off each and every shift. I am not afraid to run the field when given the opportunity and take the shot when its there.
You will notice that I am a multi-sport athlete and also play competitive hockey in the winter and competitive box lacrosse in spring/summer. In box lacrosse I take a more offensive approach and am often the points leader on my team. Hockey I am again a defenseman that brings a physical presence to the game but will also take the rush up the ice and score.
I am that player that the opposition loves to hate. I draw penalties as opponents , in field lacrosse, hockey and box lacrosse, get frustrated with my strong defensive style and lose their discipline. Drawing penalties from the opposition directly gives my teams a scoring advantage as we go a man-up.
I'm excited at the prospects of continuing my education, specifically interested in business and real-estate while being able to compete at a high level and play the sport I love.
