Personal Statement
I have been playing lacrosse since I was in first grade and started out playing attack. I started playing close defense and LSM in 8th grade and it came very natural to me. I feel that since I was able to understand how the offense worked, I was able to create more defensive stops and be an asset on both sides of the ball. Freshman year I started at North Catholic High School in Pittsburgh PA, the only freshman to start every game. My sophomore year, I was voted captain by my teammates and coaches and also started every game. I lead the team in takeaways and lead the defense in ground balls.
Also, I was able to achieve Honor Roll and a 3.8 GPA in school. I am a very active member in my schools student council and will be running for school president for my senior year. I also help with my schools mass by alter serving when they need a hand. I was able to become a better student and person by putting myself in uncomfortable situations that I have not been in before that have shaped me into who I am today
