Ethan Glover '22 Recruiting Profile

I joined Berkeley High Crew at the beginning of my freshman year. Since then I've really enjoyed the experiences it has brought me, no matter how difficult or grueling the work may be. What really interested me in rowing was the unity and connection you find struggling together, something I find compelling in the boat and which also informs my interest in politics and building worldviews in my academic life. 

Crew is about teamwork and rowing as one. One could say any sport is about teamwork and that communication between players is important, but nothing will ever beat crew in that regard. Crew helps me start or end any day on a high note because no matter what the workout was, I'll always walk away happy I did it and happy I joined. I am looking forward to continuing the journey at the collegiate level!
