Nicolas Bauer '24 Recruiting Profile

I am Nicolas Bauer, a Junior from Notre Dame High School. I started rowing in the fall of 2021. Before that, I never had any serious experience with athletics, aside from middle school basketball teams. Starting crew unleashed things that I never had inside of me, and made me into a tougher, stronger person. I have developed a work ethic, cultivated the values of courage, teamwork, brotherhood, and respect. I have loved my rowing career so far, with appearances across the country including placing 37th out of 90 at the Head of the Charles in the Varsity 4+. I have become a hard-working person who always seeks to improve, and I intend to take these values with me for the rest of my life.
