Personal Statement

My love of being on the water and pushing myself physically made rowing an instant connection for me. The sport has made me a more resilient person and student. Everyone working toward the same goal of synchronicity and speed, truly an emotional and fulfilling feeling when it all clicks. This fall I've been developing my stroke and endurance, and always keeping sight of my goal to someday row at the collegiate level.

Yes. (Pierrepont does not offer AP/IB) Freshman 2025 courses: Mandarin, Geometry, Literature, Latin, American History I, Civics, Dance (African and Modern), and Biology. Sophomore 2025/2026 courses: Mandarin, Latin, Chemistry, Pre-Calculus, Moods and Minds (Advanced Neuroscience course), American History II, and World Literature. Have taken Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth International Politics courses. Honor Roll, scored in the top 1% on CT State SBAC assessment tests.
