Bianca Minton '27 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Bianca Minton! I'm a men's coxswain with TBC Racing in Washington, DC. I started out as a rower with Sidwell Friends School, but when a knee injury rendered me unable to row in Spring 2024, I knew I couldn't give up the sport I loved so much. While transitioning to a coxswain was difficult for me, I spent many hours practicing on the water, watching race videos, and studying the courses I race as well as collecting feedback from my coaches and rowers. I am always determined to improve in every aspect of being a coxswain and team leader while remaining competitive and aggressive. As well as the work I do on the water, I strive to maintain a high GPA and stay ahead of my studies, while being a student ambassador, leading a club, and volunteering at Sibley Memorial Hospital.

I hope to challenge myself in rowing as well as in my academics and community, and to use my knowledge and drive to compete at the highest level possible.
