Jack Ragland '27 Recruiting Profile

From mental struggles to muscle cramps, Rowing has impacted my life above all. Although I'm a young and developing athlete, I have learned to preserve and think beyond just the motions of your stroke and think of ways to grow and inspire others. Even with its ups and downs, the bad teammates and the good ones, they all helped me and each other set our goals for what we all wanted. Moreover, seeing the joy on not only your parent's faces but your coaches as you cross the finish line, to me is so impactful.  This is why college rowing is one of the many significant goals that I aspire to achieve each and every day. 

I'm willing to put in the effort for my team to better our boat in any way possible. Whether it is on the water or inside, on the Erg, my teammates can count on me to push through for them.
