My goals for college are to excel in both academics and athletics. I will do my best to learn, and support my team. Rowing is important to me not only because it allows me to keep my mind and body strong, but also because it keeps me focused in life. It is important to me that I am prepared for the future, and a good college with a competitive team will help that happen.
Starting in the spring of my freshman year, I was 7 seat on the novice boat. After being 7 seat on the 4V in my first fall season, I was able to be promoted to bow seat on the 2V during my second spring season. After a very productive summer, in which I greatly improved my form at the Naval Academy Crew Camp, and later learning to scull and row both sides, I am more determined than ever to be the best rower I can be. My goals for the spring is to make the 1V and get a sub 6:50 2k, which I believe will happen
