Having been born and raised in Norway and lived most of my life in Switzerland, soccer has always been culturally a big part of my life. As countries centered around soccer, I became enticed to play competitively in FC Kölliken and also got the opportunity to join several school soccer teams and programs. What started as a hobby grew to passion and love for the sport, leading me to train on a regular basis also outside club training.
Now living in Juneau, Alaska, I helped my team, the Thunder Strikers, to become State champions for the first time in history. Through this journey I have come to know my strengths and weaknesses as a player and also on a personal level. Soccer has taught me commitment, endurance, strategic thinking, passion, and has helped me recognize weaknesses I have that I strive to improve.
My coach gave me the nickname "The Flying Dutchman". He implied it saying I was as swiftly going over the field as if I were flying, always being at the right place at the right time. In addition some other strengths of mine include strategic passing, first touch ball control, being a teamplayer, winning fights for the ball in the air, and delivering hard work through game preparations and showing effort while training.
Being an upbeat person I bring encouragement and high moral standards to the team, so as a well trained 2 sport athlete with lots of experience I believe I would be the perfect pick for you!
