For me, soccer was not just a dream or a hobby, it is a lifestyle addiction. Ever since I was 4 years old, I was inspired and taught by my grandfather, Carlos Zavala Guerrero, a former player Toluca FC, and my older brother Gary Carbajal, who quite a few coaches knew around OC know when he was playing for SAC, Fullerton, and Golden West. Both outstanding when it came to defense and controlling the tempo of the game. I learned that they paved a path for me to play at a high level and I followed. I have played my first two years in Saddleback Highschool and both years I was selected as a varsity starter and captain. In that time, I managed 27 assist and 14 goals during that time playing as a center-midfielder. With my consistency, dedication, communication, and will power to work even when exhausted I gained myself the opportunity to play in ECNL. I currently play for West Coast ECNL as a defensive midfielder, and in my first season I had 10 assist and 2 goals while also starting most games. No matter the challenge I will always adapt and play what's best for the team and I give 200% in every practice and game.
