From Coach Carlos Rivera - Rush National Team Coach - February 2023 

Coach Rivera shared the following after the U19 Rush National team competed in Phoenix AZ over the President Day weekend in February 2023.  “... Kyle is a very solid and reliable center midfielder.  Showed good understanding of attacking and defensive positioning. Combined very well with his teammates and was a great physical presence with great vision and soccer IQ.” Kyle started all four games at the PDT tournament. Coach Rivera rated Kyle on par with his teammates at the PDT for athletic attributes and understanding of the game for Rush National team players. Coach Rivera rated Kyle in the top 100 in the country for Rush National team player pool for gamesmanship, mental toughness and confidence - and in the top 50 in the country for coachability and attitude.

I am currently a Junior at Ralston Valley Highschool (5A). I am a versatile midfielder and am very comfortable playing with both feet (passing, trapping, shooting, distributing).  The past two years I have predominantly played midfield (6, 8, 10).  I have quick and precise distribution and a high pass percentage. Based on my Trace statistics I one of the hardest working players on the field.  I am a multi-sport athlete (I can do a backflip on skis on the slopes here in Colorado and can surf behind a boat or in the ocean) and bring my versatility to the field every day.  Both my parents played sports in college which is pushing me to do my best.

I love to travel, meet people from different places and I speak Spanish. Off the field I like following my passion of cars.  I have purchased, fixed and sold 8 cars the past two years with my older brother and father. Along with the cars, I have purchased and modified 11 ATVs over the same past two years. At the moment I am considering engineering because I like understanding how the fundamentals of electrical, mechanical and motor sciences come together to create power in many different ways.
