Emilio Cornejo '22 Recruiting Profile

I started playing soccer at the age of 5,  and  have been playing Developmental Academy  since I was 13.  I've played for experienced coaches from all around the world including Argentina, Trinidad and Tobago, England, and Italy. This is a part of the reason I love soccer,  because I can learn and be a part of different cultures and different styles of play. My U12 soccer team won the State championship and I went to US trainings for 2 years, playing with many of the best boys in the state at my age level. For the past  3 years of high school,  I have been with the both the Colorado Rapids and Real Colorado Soccer Academy.  My soccer skills include both a strong right and left foot shot, excellent technical skills, and good vision for passing and anticipating movement on the field. I typically play striker, however I am comfortable in the 10 position, and on the wing, due to my speed and ability to make good crosses to the middle.  I am well-liked by my teammates and am easy-going off the field.
