Soccer is the sport that I've been passionate about since the age of 5. Throughout my career, I started out playing rec, travel soccer, and premier at U11 with Soccerviza FC and Inter CT FC. My goal is to play at the college level at a school with not only a great soccer program but also a high level of academic rigor. Some of my best qualities are my perseverance through obstacles, openness to growth both inside and outside of the classroom, and willingness to do more than what is expected. I believe that academics come first, and soccer comes second. Outside of school and soccer, I spend time in the gym, watch soccer, play with my dogs, and hang out with friends.
I consider myself a technical, agile player with dribbling being my best quality. I am a player who can create chances offensively with my fast feet. I am able to play the 10, 7, 11, or 8. Another one of my best qualities is my ability to play with both feet, which allows me to flourish in 1v1 scenarios and in turn be unpredictable. I am comfortable with my left just as much as my right in all aspects of the game. I enjoy setting up my teammates for a goal as much as scoring myself.
As aforementioned, I prioritize school first, and soccer second. I have been able to maintain a 3.9 GPA during my 3 years at Fairfield Prep (as of Junior Year) with rigorous classes (4/6 of my classes are Honors/AP). I volunteer at my local food pantry 2 hours a week, representing Fairfield Prep. Also, I am a mentor at Fairfield Country Day School in Fairfield, CT. Last but not least, I am a proud member of the National Honors Society at Fairfield College Prep.
What I hope to get out of my recruitment process is to be at a place where I can succeed both academically and athletically. I hope to maintain a great relationship with teachers, coaches, and teammates during my journey. I believe that my qualities of perseverance, dedication, openness to growth, and communication skills will lead me to success both on and off the field. I look forward to the next chapter of my life and can't wait to see what it brings.
