Since i was a little kid my goal has been and still is to become a professional soccer player but i like to take it one step at a time. Before i went into high school, a lot of people said that i could not start varsity my freshman year but i proved them wrong. I went to the gym every day and got stronger and stronger as time passed. I started every single varsity game so far in my high school soccer career. I thank God everyday for giving me an opportunity to be playing the game i love. Im an attacking midfielder and im always looking for that through ball to my forwards because there is no other better feeling then giving that great pass for your striker and him finishing. im quick with the ball and i can protect it like no other players. Playing in the midfield requires a lot of thinking beyond the play and you need to have good control rather if its from a punt from your goalie or the opponent and i have that skill but the skill that makes me stand out on the field is my dribbling and i love doing that but i know that theres always the right time and the right place to do it.
My junior year of soccer has ended in a good note but could've been better. I was elected captain and by being a captain i had big responsibility of leading my team and communicating not only on the field but also off it. For example setting a good example in school by doing homeworks and helping some of them out with there school work.this years team was very very tight, we were honestly a family and with that we won our conference and won the NVL Championship but we lost in the quarter finals vs Farmington with 36 seconds left in overtime. Our record was 20-1. A lot of people believe that i can play D1 College soccer but most important i believe in my self also. It would be a pleasure to play in a high level of soccer where you can go to the game and know that you have to play your best every second of that game and that s honestly my goal for now.
Now im just focusing on my grades but im still doing indoor track and indoor soccer for my premiere team which is Inter United. Im putting the work now so when it comes to my senior year i can be ready and i know my teammates will be ready because we always start captains practice in the end of august.
