Personal Statement

Hi I am Christian Borno, and I am a 9th grade scholar—athlete. I have been playing soccer since I was five years old.

I have been a member of the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented  Youth (CTY) since fourth grade, and a member of the Duke TIP program since fourth grade.

I want to study business/finance and economics at a highly competitive academic institution with a top twenty men’s soccer D1 program with a chance to compete for a national championship and playoffs. 

I play center forward #9, wide right forward #7, and wide left forward #11 for Alexandria Soccer  Association 2008 Boys MLS Next.

This year, I made the USYS ODP first national team roster, and I was one of the final two strikers selected for the ODP National Team. 

I am looking for a program that allows me to grow intellectually and improve my skills on the soccer pitch.
