Declan Lynn '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Declan Lynn. I am from Alexandria, Virginia, and am a rising Senior (Class of 2026) at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC. I play for Alexandria MLS Next as a left-footed left back and left wing-back. Soccer has been a cornerstone of my life. The sport has not only provided me with physical challenges I enjoy, but has also shaped me into a better person - teaching me the values of hard work, leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. I have prided myself on being a mentally strong, skilled and tactile player who strives to help my team and teammates be successful. I have always dreamed of playing at the collegiate level at an academically strong college or university, where I can continue to grow as a student-athlete, a teammate and an individual. In addition to athletics, I am committed to striving for academic excellence. Throughout high school I have balanced my studies with soccer and have maintained a high (4.0) GPA and achieved First Honors while attending practice 4 nights a week and games on the weekends.
