Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer since I was three years old. Since I first stepped on the field, I have aspired to play at the highest level I can. Before the Covid 19, I was training 2 times a week with a professional trainer, meditating, and doing conditioning 3-5 times a week. During Covid, I've been able to maintain a strong regimen of working out, socially distance train, and play with teammates. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. So, I do my best to be prepared and take advantage of opportunities that come my way.
I have excellent ball control, strong passing, shooting, and a high soccer IQ. I understand my main role is to keep the ball moving and create options for myself and my teammates. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging and supporting my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I keep good relationships with all my teachers, study hard, and maintain a high GPA. I've also volunteered 150 hours at a local youth soccer camp.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself on and off the field. I not only want to become the best player you have, but the best person as well. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model for all my peers and make my family, friends and coaches proud.
