Alice Stillerman '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Alice and I'm from Washington, DC! I primarily play catcher and a little first base. I have played baseball pretty much my whole life and recently made the switch to softball. In ninth grade, I played softball for the first time and became my high school's varsity starting catcher. I have been selected captain of my national girls baseball team for two years in a row and am also a varsity captain on the leadership team for Baseball For All, a national non-profit organization. This year, I was one of 64 girls selected across the US and Canada to attend MLB/USA Baseball's Elite Development Invitational for girls baseball. I am also a junior editor for my school newspaper and have a 4.28 GPA.

While there was definitely an adjustment period from baseball to softball, I was able to get into the swing of things and went on to hit .618 my freshman year. I also led all of DC in RBIs. This past year I hit .617, which was the third best batting average in DC. I have played travel baseball since middle school and am playing travel softball this fall. I love the strategy involved in both baseball and softball and am a good leader and communicator.  

I'm a hard worker and am coachable. I love playing baseball and softball and hope to continue playing softball at the next level!
