Jacob Faltemier '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Faltemier and I am a 6’1”, 160 pound senior midfielder from Amelia Island, Florida.  I have a 3.2 GPA (3.9 weighted GPA) at Stanton College Preparatory High School, a top 10 National academically ranked school.  I am interested in playing soccer at a university with an outstanding academic program. 

I am a versatile midfielder on my high school team and utilized in numerous positions on my club soccer team, including defender and striker depending on the needs of the game.  My favorite highlight of my high school soccer career is scoring the winning goal in a (1-0) win at the Regional Finals during my junior year of high school to advance to the State Final Four round of which we had not been for over a decade.  We also advanced to the finals in our county conference championship for which I was selected for Honorable Mention for the county conference championship all-tournament team two years in a row.

I consider myself a leader on the team and a motivated and dedicated team player.  I feel that my coach agrees as I was named captain of our high school team for the 2019-2020 season as a junior in high school.  My strengths on the field are my unselfish and accurate distribution of the ball and my ability to see the entire field.  I feel that these strengths coupled with my excellent foot skills, my quickness to the ball, and my highly competitive desire to control the ball make me an immediate asset to any team.

I am looking for a school where I can be an active contributor, where I can thrive alongside other student athletes who share my passion, where my skills will be tested, and where I can play soccer at my highest competitive level to reach my true athletic potential.  I am interested in attending a school where I can receive the best education possible to prepare me for a successful career.
