Zachary Singer '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Zachary Singer. Like many kids, I started playing soccer at a very young age just for fun, and soon realized how much I enjoyed the sport. I love just being around it, watching it, coaching it, and especially playing it!  While it was nice to have the opportunity to play different positions over the years, I found that I really felt at home being a goalkeeper.  As a Freshman, I made the varsity team at my high school and won the starting goalkeeper job. I learned so much by playing with and competing against more experienced players. Playing soccer is important to me, but learning from players, coaches and professionals is equally important to my growth as player. I trained hard with a private goalkeeper coach and my love for playing soccer has only continued to grow. I really focus on my academics, but honestly, I want to spend all of my free time on the pitch!  I continue to train and hone my skills on both my club team and school varsity team, and I welcome feedback and constructive criticism so that I can become the best goalkeeper that I possibly can!  While balancing focus on my advanced academic studies, my goal is to play college soccer and continue to learn and grow as a player and teammate.
