High School sophomore looking to attend a prestigious university in state or out of state with a well-renowned ROTC program and Soccer team. In the future I plan to join the military as an officer and eventually become associated in the medical field of the branch of my choosing. In my social life I place school before anything else which is the reason why I am accredited for my academic record/achievements as well as my leadership potential. I attend an International Baccalaureate (IB) school and have been admitted into the IB Diploma Program for both Junior and Senior year. My desire to contribute to the profession of medicine is evident through the various clubs I participate in at school and out of school along with the 200+ hours of community service I have completed. As a result I have been nominated and formally invited to several different opportunities this upcoming summer including the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Boston, Massachusetts and the National Youth Leadership Forum at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Hopefully this displays my attitude towards academics.
I view soccer as an important sport in my life with roughly 12 years of experience in. It's mainly something I wish to be apart of in my college years rather than making a career out of it. I'm not aiming to make it into a Division 1 school, but if I happened to be given the chance to attend a university with a soccer program as described then I may consider. I'm a proud motivator who boosts the morale of my teammates on and off the field. This action comes from the true leader I find in myself. Aside from having "Captain of the soccer team" capabilities, I am also a good ball handler and shooter when necessary. When it comes to being in the classroom, I am quiet as can be and know when it is appropriate to add a little humor to my day. While on the soccer field I have my head in the game at all times and strive to work hard and do the best I can for all 90 minutes.
After reading this I hope you were able to gain some knowledge about my character and future aspirations. Thank you.
