2016 HighlightsHello, my name is Nathan Castle and I live in Nanaimo British Columbia Canada. I am a Junior at Dover Bay Secondary School. I play on the school team as an attacking mid. However, on my club team I play more of a defensive mid role, but on both teams I am a starter. I am a very versatile player and can be put in any position that is required.
An aspiration of mine is to play soccer at the highest level I can, while being able to succeed in getting a degree in the sciences division. Dedication has been a key part to my success as I show up to every practice focused and determined to not only make myself better technically and physically, but make others around me better as well. I am a player that will never give up even if the odds are stacked against me and I will fight and put in the work till the very end, no matter the result. I will take the positive out of almost everything and put it towards learning from my mistakes. Some coaches comment negatively on my size, but I prove them wrong as I out work their players. I look forward to academic and soccer challenges as I know they can only improve my skills. In the classroom I am always motivated to put my best work forward as I continue to achieve high grades, allowing me to prepare me for the challenges that await me.
