Lucas Mitchell '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lucas Mitchell. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. I have played on multiple teams throughout my development as I have been asked by multiple teams to guest play to make them more competitiive.  I am a vocal leader and have made many great relationships with my teammates. I am always positive with my teammates and with myself. One of my strengths is my open mindedness; I am coachable and immediately take in advice and apply it into my play. I enjoy playing soccer because of the competitiveness in the game, my ability to beat other opponents on the dribble, being able to build strong relationships, and making great memories. The position I play currently is the 10 or attacking midfielder. I play this position because of my ability to control the middle. One of my strengths in play is finding the right pass and moving off of it. I have great field vision and identify when I can be selfish using my skills to open the field and create space for my teammate when drawing in my opponent or opponents then finding the back of the net.
