Personal Statement
My name is Diego Müller, and I've been around great soccer cultures my entire life. My adopted father is German and my biological father is Mexican. I’ve had a huge passion for soccer ever since I started playing. The game is everything to me.
Living in western Kansas means I drive 5-hours roundtrip to get to my club team practice at FC Wichita ECNL. I do homework in the car or late at night because I know how important academics are and how they could benefit my future soccer opportunities. I'm working hard to balance soccer and academics and was selected this year for the National Honor Society. I hope to study exercise science or nutrition.
I’ve started on the varsity team every year in high school and was recently selected for 1st team All-Western Athletic Conference (WAC) (two years in a row). I played Kansas ODP and was part of the ODP Midwest Regional Pool.
My dream is to play soccer at the highest level possible for as long as possible, then use my college degree and knowledge of the game to hopefully coach and inspire others.
