Landen Gleason '16 Recruiting Profile

        My name is Landen Gleason. I am set to graduate high school in 2016. I have strong academic standing (see recommendation letters below) and am looking forward to playing post high-school sports. 
        I am interested in mechanical engineering, and would like to major in mechanical engineering. I also have great expectations for my post high-school options concerning sports and athletics.
        I play soccer or fútbol, as some call it, and have risen in many ways to be a crucial and heavily influential on our team. Our team is a co-ed varsity high school team, and our 2014 season record was 10W-6L. I scored nine goals, totaling an underwhelming thirteen. However, I led the team in assists with ten direct and four indirect. 
        As for skill, I have hardened but not perfect coordination; I have a strong and accurate right foot (predominant) and a coordinated left. I shoot primarily with my right. I run the length of our field in about 14 seconds, and our field is about 95 yards long. I'm the fastest runner with the ball on our team, but I am limited. I cannot do long distance runs, I play best in short consecutive bursts. I also am one of the strongest passers on our team (not my own words). I am a past first and possession oriented player.
