I will play professional soccer.

I have had a soccer ball at my feet since I could walk and played organized soccer since I was 3 years old. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to play beyond high school and even beyond college. Sports have always been a big part of my life. I tried football and baseball, but I did not like either like I love soccer. My dad played hockey growing up and was drafted by the Red Wings. My stepdad played soccer growing up and has been a big part of my development and nurturing of my love for the game. I am constantly outside (and often inside) with my ball when I'm not at practice or training. 

An interesting fact about me is that at age 12, I was invited to train with the US Women's National Team when they were in town to play China. My club hosted their training. Our U17 team was allowed to practice, and I was the only 12-year-old asked to join.

I am Captain of my MLS Next team and was also captain for my previous club teams. I'm a strong leader and a team player, unselfish with the ball, with a strong desire to compete and win. I understand that a true leader helps make those around him better and strive to do so constantly. I am a well-rounded player. For my club, I'm primarily a CB. For my high school Varsity, I primarily play CDM, and CAM or ST when needed. I'm averaging 0.9 goals per game over the entire season. I can and will play any position that benefits my team. I would love the opportunity to play at the highest college level possible and beyond. I work hard in school and understand the importance of a good education. My goal is to obtain a physical therapy degree from a well-respected school while playing for a highly competitive team, and ultimately go on to play professionally. I'm working hard, on and off the field, in support of my goal to contribute my leadership, skills and commitment to a strong collegiate team as the next step in making my dreams reality.
