Jermaine Stevenson '16 Recruiting Profile

When I was a freshman, I played my first soccer game. Soon as I scored, I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was terrible in the beginning. Therefore I took the initiative to work hard and gain what was necessary for me to become a better all-around soccer player. While becoming a collegiate soccer player is my goal, I have to do what is necessary to better my family, which means getting a great education as well. I strive for excellence on (accountable, persistent,coach-able) and off (respectable, optimistic, intelligent) the pitch and in the classroom. I am a helper. When something is not working out, I step in to better the situation and get the game moving on again. My core and legs are extremely strong. I have the ability to score goals, and keep possession. I am not biased to any coach/college. I want to show my family/peers it is possible for person that struggled, but persevered to play soccer at a collegiate level.
