I am a junior in high school at The John Carroll School in Bel Air Maryland. When I was younger I always competed with my brother who was two years ahead of me, I competed with him in everything I did from playing soccer to playing wall ball with our friends at the pool. I never thought that they should be better than me just because of their age, and this mindset pushed me to become a much stronger player and it has carried into how i approach things off the field as well. I played up one or two years in soccer most my life until middle school. I learned about myself from this experience, that I can be as good as others who are my superior in age if I was willing to put in the work, so throughout school I have pushed myself to take the highest classes I can and maintain a GPA as good as or better than my friends in my grade and grades above me. My goals in college are to get connected with a great group of friends and teammates, and to study Business. I am interested in making lifelong connections through college soccer and want to further my soccer career and skills. I am excited to play and train everyday to stay in shape, and be apart of a competitive soccer team. I want both a competitive soccer program as well as competitive academics. I have always been the type of person to look for others needs before my own and that carries into how I play soccer, I am skilled at seeing the field, keeping possession and trying to find the extra pass. I plan on getting involved with my university and staying connected in more ways than just my soccer program, joining clubs, and student leadership ect., like I do now in high school. In the past few years I have faced a few challenges due to being sick and injuries, my junior season I missed alot of the season for mono, and my Sophomore year i missed a lot of the season due to a severe ankle sprain. I am back now and even more appreciative of being able to play the sport I love and want to be the best I can be.
