Conor Smrz '19 Recruiting Profile

I am the captain and leading goal scorer for my high school team as a junior as well as the captain of my club team (MapleBrook C1). This high school season I got 10 goals and 5 assists. I found a variety of ways to score, I am also the designated free kick/PK taker. I have been All-Conference in my sophomore and junior year.  Although the scoring is a lot of fun, my proudest moment was receiving an email from an away referee praising me for the way I controlled my team on the field.  For both my high school team and club team I take great pride in being able to take on dynamic strikers and shut them down. For club this season we went undefeated in our league. We scored 40+ goals and only let in 2 goals in 12 games. I take much pride as a defender in only letting in two goals. Overall alI feel you'll be impressed by my strong tackles, soccer IQ, scoring abilities, speed of play, strength, ball control in traffic, communication and leadership skills. Just giving my profile a look will be well worth your time, please keep an eye on my progress!
